Submarine oil hose – the key link for underwater energy transportation

In the oil and gas industry, safe and efficient transportation equipment is the core element to ensure the smooth transportation of energy. With the continuous development of offshore oil and gas resources, the importance of submarine oil hoses as the key link between offshore facilities and submarine PLEMs has become increasingly prominent.

The single point mooring system (SPM) is an important facility for offshore oil and gas transportation. It is mainly used to enable oil tankers to carry out safe and efficient loading and unloading operations at sea in harsh marine environments. CDSR oil hose plays an indispensable role in such systems, and its application scenarios include catenary anchor leg mooring system (CALM), single anchor leg mooring system (SALM) and turret mooring system.

Various configuration types

CDSR submarine oil hose has a variety of configuration types to adapt to different marine environments and engineering requirements. Among them, Steel 's', Lazy 's' and Chinese lanterns are the more common types. These configurations are made possible by the distribution of floats on the submarine oil hoses. Chinese Lanterns is the main applied configuration type. With its unique structural design, the CDSR submarine oil hose can better cope with the influence of complex factors such as ocean currents and waves while ensuring the stability of oil transportation, and provides more reliable protection for crude oil transportation.

High-performance materials and superior craftsmanship

The lining of the CDSR oil hose is made of oil-resistant elastomer, which can withstand flow velocities up to 21 metres/second, ensuring high efficiency and reliability in continuous operation. For higher flow rate requirements, CDSR can customize the design of products according to the specific requirements of customers to meet the transportation needs under different working conditions.

In addition, the hose end fittings and flanges are hot-dip galvanized in accordance with EN ISO 1461, ensuring excellent durability in the corrosive environment of seawater, salt spray and transmission media. This protection not only extends the service life of the hose, but also reduces maintenance costs, providing customers with higher economic benefits.

Adapting to complex marine environment

The marine environment is complex and changeable, and submarine oil hoses need to have sufficient pressure resistance, tensile resistance and corrosion resistance to cope with extreme conditions such as deep-sea high pressure, strong currents and low temperatures. CDSR oil hoses are able to maintain stable operation in these harsh environments through precise engineering design and strict quality control. Its flexible structural design can effectively alleviate the impact of waves, tides and ocean currents, ensure the safety and continuity of the oil transportation process, and provide solid protection for offshore oil transportation.

Whether facing complex marine environments or meeting the diverse needs of customers, CDSR is always committed to providing customized solutions to help the energy industry achieve efficient and sustainable development. CDSR will continue to focus on technological innovation, develop more efficient and environmentally friendly oil hose solutions, and provide more reliable support for the global energy industry.
