Floating hoses are widely used, they are commonly used in: loading and unloading oil in ports, transferring crude oil from oil rigs to ships, transferring dredging spoil (sand and gravel) from ports to dredgers, etc. The floating hose is fully visible even in adverse weather conditions. The floating hose is clearly identifiable with a (coloured) label to improve visibility in the water, to protect it from damage.
CDSR produces floating hoses for both dredging and oil transfer.
CDSR is the first company that produce floating hose in China, who successfully developed floating hose as early as 1999. The working temperature of the floating hose is -20°C to 50°C, and it can transport fresh water, sea water, and a mixture of silt, clay, and sand. The development of floating hose technology enables itself to load various functions to the greatest extent and maximize the stable transportation capacity, and thus results in an independent floating pipeline composed of floating hoses, which is connected to the stern of the dredger. This not only greatly improves the efficiency of pipeline transportation, makes it sustainable for a longer time, but also greatly reduces the cost of pipeline maintenance. Our floating hose meets the requirement of ISO28017-2018 and the Chinese Ministry of Chemical Industry standard HG/T2490-2011, Our hoses can also meet the higher and reasonable requirements of the clients.
Floating hose for oil transfer
CDSR Single Carcass Hose can withstand the requirements of the harshest offshore installations.
The CDSR Single Carcass Hose construction consists of three main elements:
(1) smooth bore elastomeric lining resistant to a variety of hydrocarbons,
(2) a standard elastomer reinforced carcass with multi-layers of high tensile textile cords and embedded steel wire helix,
(3) a fiber reinforced smooth elastomer cover, resistant to ageing, abrasion, weathering, sunlight, tearing, oil and seawater penetration.
CDSR Double Carcass hose is a kind of anti-pollution hose, which can effectively prevent oil leakage and environmental damage.
In addition to the standard hose carcass (commonly termed 'primary' carcass), CDSR Double Carcass Hose incorporate an additional second carcass designed to contain any product escaping from the primary carcass as a result of a slow leak or sudden failure. An effective, robust and reliable, integrated leak detection and indication system is provided.
Each hose produced by CDSR undergoes strict inspection to ensure high quality and fully meet the requirements of customers. Hoses produced by CDSR are used worldwide and have proven themselves in various projects.
